Advantages of a Closed System

• No Algae Growth
• No Mosquito Hatch

• No Water Erupting Out of the Top & Overflowing Down into Your Foundation
• Water Will Backup into the Diveter and Go Down the Original Downspout if the System and Tubing Reaches its Capacity to Overflow Out of Tubing.

These are two installations showing the diverter painted grey to match the house. The overflow tube is directed toward the plantings along the house. The overflow tubing could be directed into the lower portion of the downspout and inserting the tube.

Several barrels may be connected together.

Shown here is the black corrugated tubing attached to the left outlet of the diverter. This tubing is 1 1/4" ID. Connected to the right outlet is the reducer and 1" ID white tubing and is directed to a rain bench.

If only one outlet is being used, a plug that is attached to the filter for storage may be inserted from inside. For winterization, both outlets may be plugged.
